My photographic journey began as a boy with my first basic point and shoot film camera. In my teen years I graduated to my first “serious camera” - a Pentax K1000 35mm SLR - I thought I was a pro!

Photography then took a back seat for over 30 years as life got in the way, but my love affair with the camera was re kindled about 12 years ago.

My particular interest is landscape photography, although you will find some wildlife and other images on my website.

My journey has taken me from the initial thrill of learning how to shoot images of iconic places to trying to capture my feelings as I visit some of the most incredible places on the planet.

A wise teacher once told me that when we take a photograph we are recording how the light is falling on our subject at that particular moment time. In that respect every single frame is unique.
